Allison Berry

INPP™ Practitioner, Primary Educator, Yoga Instructor

I am Allison Berry, the face behind PRIMAL Movement Therapy.

It is through my journey of understanding and supporting my son's diagnosis of ADHD and dyslexia that I was inspired to find out why he was having difficulty with functionality that I took for granted: physical stability, emotional understanding, and cognitive function. I observed him thrive in some aspects of life yet struggle and resent/avoid others. This inspired me to undertake further education in programs that directly and indirectly addressed the cause, not just the symptoms of his challenges.

My experience of helplessness and frustration as a parent with a child struggling to thrive is what inspired me to support families in their understanding of the underlying causes of neuromotor immaturity [NMI] and its effect on their child’s functionality. My experience as an educator, coupled with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of neurodevelopment, allows me to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to supporting parents and children: at home and within the educational setting.

I help parents/carers and their children achieve improved functionality and quality of life.
